Becoming a Conscious Creator

Dear Friends:

In the Book of Disciples found in the Archives of the Wisdom, there is an injunction to which, perhaps, the Master of Nazareth was referring when two thousand years ago He said to his disciples the above words. This injunction of the Wisdom says:

Living according to this injunction of the Wisdom allows us to become self-conscious creators in our life and world. Let’s study together the two parts of this injunction:

In both keys — first, identifying with the Oneness of All and, second, identifying with our intended creation —Feeling is the central tool that we use, aided or supported by our power to imagine things and by our thought-making faculty.

In a very real sense, a true creator does not “feel” feelings or “think” thoughts at all. Instead, the creator manifests as his or her feelings and thoughts. The result of this extension or expansion of the creator’s being and energy is a pattern or a mold for the intended creation to manifest. This is the main role of the creator in any creative process because after this point the Storehouse of Energy of the Universe takes charge of finishing the creation.

The Storehouse of Energy of the Universe is designed to always respond to any and to all creative intents of self-conscious beings. However, the Storehouse of the Universe does respond perfectly and more completely to a creative process when the intention of the creator does not exclude anything or anyone. This is so because a non-excluding creating intent provides room for the Universe to fill the mold with the best elements for the occasion.

There is no complete creation when we present to the Universe intentions and desires that inherently exclude. All the disharmony that today exists in our humanity’s world is the result of incomplete creations, limited in their perfection only by the excluding intentions that we usually express through our thoughts and feelings. For example, looking at the neighborhood or community where we live, we may wish to see the houses around us to be occupied with people that would share our values and way of living. At first glance this intention may seem understandable and noble, yet it inherently excludes. It excludes people who are not like us at both ends of the spectrum! If we were to hold this intention and tell the Storehouse of the Universe to fulfill it, we would be limiting the growth towards perfection of our community.

So, we can ask ourselves at this point: In which way, that is non-excluding, should we exercise our creative powers and manifest the best?

From the injunction of the Wisdom that we are reviewing, a technique can be assembled that may help us to grasp the meaning of creating from a non-excluding space. It is a three-step technique, and we may use the example of our neighborhood or community to illustrate the process:

Preparation

• Enter into a mood of sacredness.
• Clearly identify your intent — identify within you that which you desire to bring forth, that which you desire to manifest as you or as an extension of yourself (remember, everything that we create is an extension or ourselves). For example, your desire is the manifestation of the perfection of Love and the Abundance of Life in your community.
• Once you feel that you are in a mood of sacredness and that you clearly know your desire, proceed with the steps.

Steps

1. Focus on your feeling nature (on your heart aspect) and feel boundless Love flowing through you towards your surroundings. Feel infinite Love radiating from the center of your being, through your being, and flowing out.
2. Identify yourself with the finished picture of your desire, as if it was already something real for you to experience.
   Using the feeling of Love as a carrier of your being and energy, at this step you extend or expand yourself in the direction of your intent. In other words, what you do in this step is to create the space into which your creation will manifest; you do this by means of your expanding feeling of Love and by means of your capacity to imagine things.
   Let’s clarify this step with an example, the example of the community or neighborhood where we live. During this second step, imagine and feel that you are the community — with your imagination, see and feel that you are expanding and that in this expansion you become the ground, the plants, the trees, the houses, the animals, the people, and the air of what is going to be your community. Feel that you are the energy that is now moving through all aspects of the community and that this energy is creating them into manifestation.
3. Complete your intention by feeling and visualizing what it is like to experience the finished manifestation. Then, place the seal of your Divinity and creatorship by affirming the livingness or reality that your creation nownow-time; past and future do not exist at this level of consciousness.
   Again, using our neighborhood or community as an example, in this third step we complete our intention and place on it the seal of our creatorship with a heart-felt thought like this:
   I am the focal point for the all-attractiveness of Infinite Love now flowing through my community and as my community…
   flowing through the ground, the plants, the animals, the people, the houses, the environment…
   and from my community, Love radiates to all the people, creatures and places of the Earth and the Universe.
   So it is.
   This heart-felt thought may be accompanied by visualizing Love as a Light emanating from your heart, flooding the whole community and spilling all over the Earth.

You all can easily use this approach to becoming conscious creators of your life. This technique, for example, can be adapted to manifest abundance, health, joy or any specific project or creative act that you would like to manifest in your life.
